Navajo late classic sarape, 1875-1880, woven with an interesting combination of yarns that include fleece dyed aniline red in the field, cochineal plied yarn in the concentric diamond design devices, indigo, vegetal green, light natural hand spun, and purple Germantown plied yarns.
Three rows of concentric diamond bands create a graphically striking mans sarape.
